The Yachtport SA team have vast and established expertise in most marine sectors ensuring strong operational and in-port support in the region.
With established marine repair infrastructure and an operational yacht services yard and marina we are able to understand your technical support needs and provide an effectively tailored solution.
Our team members have acted as Technical Advisors for the development and construction of several major marine assets for South Africa, in addition to the offshore oil & gas industry.
Our in-house knowledge of advanced naval and command and control technologies coupled to technical procurement of naval and commercial vessels from European shipyards gives us working experience to support your vessel to the international regulations and its designated flag state and classification society requirements.

Our services are offered to Superyachts in South African waters. Service delivery can be arranged for offshore rendezvous, anchorage and alongside port locations.
We are able to offer competencies in the fields of superyacht support, South African port access and pilotage in South African coastal conditions.
Full administrative support and professional in-house accounting ensures that all services are provided to international standards and financial regulations.

VICTUALING
South Africa is able to provide a wide range of fresh produce due to the wide-ranging climatic conditions and rich oceanic currents.
We can source any request from a wide range of local farms, wholesalers, retailers or from well-established international food importers.
Also uniquely available and offered is the wide-ranging types of food available catering to several religious and cultural requirements.
TECHNICAL PARTS
PROCUREMENT
Our team offers technical competencies to source and supply specific technical supplies or replacement parts to keep your on-board systems running. South Africa has extensive supplier representation of international Original Equipment Manufacturer(OEM) brands.
Our decade long experience has also established an extensive supplier network that can be harnessed to fulfil your requirements.
TECHNICAL REPAIR,

Yachtport SA particularly prides itself in its established engineering capability to provide a wide range of technical services.
Having its roots in naval engineering and engineering support, we are able to rapidly respond to your repair or maintenance requirement and develop a solution in line with your vessels design and support protocols.
Project management of your repair or maintenance procedure, no matter how small, will ensure the correct solution within operating budget and planned docking schedule.
IMO waste disposal complying to all annexes of MARPOL conventions can also be provided or supported.
LOGISTICS
Our team can offer logistical assistance to ensure your goods find their way to the end of your gangway or onboard.
Coordination between all parties involved requires focused and continued efforts to ensure effective logistics.
We are able to communicate the product standards and time limitations to third party suppliers in order to streamline the process.
FUEL & LUBRICATING
OIL SUPPLY &
SERVICE
With expected long-range passages to South Africa, we can arrange fuel bunkering using a network of trusted wholesalers.
All bunkering requirements can be assessed in terms of berthing locality, availability, viscosity, sulphur, volume, piping access, filler connection etc.
Machinery lubrication oils and greases can also be supplied from local or international branded products as required.
If required, fuel scrubbing/polishing can be arranged while alongside to test or remove any impurities of on-board fuel.
Used oils can be collected alongside, transported, stored and processed in a sustainable, ethical and responsible manner to approved standards.
CREW & VIP
TRANSPORT
Shore transport for crew can be arranged as required. Crew errands, airport transfers, sightseeing, sporting events or car rental can be provided.
VIP transfer services to and from airport, restaurants, wine farms, sightseeing can be handled with the necessary security, privacy and luxury as required. Arrangements with local airspace, private jet terminal, helipad or landing strip can be done on request.
CREW CONCIERGE
The Yachtport SA team is also willing to offer crew concierge services while in-port. Local guides to entertainment, retail, sport and recreational activities. Restaurant recommendations/bookings, gym memberships, sightseeing guide, local events calendar overview and bookings etc.
In addition, Cape Town has extensive crew career development training schools available for booking.
PASSAGE PLANNING
GUIDANCE
The Yachtport team is willing to offer passage planning guidance when contemplating to navigate South African waters.
South African ocean conditions is considered to be some of the most harsh waters in the world.
Harbours, natural inlets or sheltered bays are very limited considering the extent of the coastline(1500 NM). Careful consideration must be taken into account when planning a voyage which is dependant on seasonal changes.
