100T TRAVELIFT
Yachtport SA is the only marine lift facility in Southern Africa with a 100t Travelift capable of handling catamarans and mono hulls of up to 26m length overall, 9,5m beam width and up to 100 ton displacement.
HIGH PRESSURE CLEANING
We follow the lift-out of the yacht with high-pressure cleaning in order to remove any accumulated oxidation, dew, humidity or salt from the hull of your yacht.
All biological debris blasted from the hull is collected in a specialised water trap and biological filter system built into the cleaning surface to prevent any contamination of local waters.
SURFACE PREPARATION AND PAINTING
Our team sands, tapes and covers the surfaces in preparation for painting according to the clients’ preferred specifications.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
We offer specialized project management services to our clients.
LOGISTICAL SUPPORT
Complimentary to project management services, Yachtport SA also provides logistical support to foreign and local clients.
ENGINEERING SERVICES
We offer full engineering solutions to repair or upgrade yachts. This includes repowering, electrical, electronics, shaft works, keel bolt replacement etc.
ANTIFOULING
Deteriorated antifouling needs to be removed and replaced with a fresh antifouling system. Every yacht has its unique operating conditions based on usage, environment or preferences from past experiences, for this all antifouling types and brands are considered.
POLISHING
Polishing protects the hull from harmful UV rays and salt laden marine water. Polishing of exterior surfaces helps to restore the hulls’ colour or gloss and provide protection from the daily harsh conditions.
MAST STEPPING
We provide mast stepping in order to facilitate repainting, running/standing rigging repair/replacement and easy access to electrical components.
RIGGING
We can facilitate rigging repairs, upgrading and check dockside with our wide and high-load bearing pontoons.
REPAIR AND REFIT
Yachtport SA can provide a full range of services from minor to major repair or complete refit from classic yacht restoration to racing yacht upgrades.
HARDSTAND
Our hardstand facility is the ideal; safe and secure area for yachts to be repaired while out of the water. Making use of our fit-for-most configurable boat cradles and experienced blocking team. Special or custom cradle solutions can be arranged if required.
ACCESS PLATFORMS
We can provide various forms of mobile and static platform access whilst on hardstand.
MOORING
Our 20 on-site moorings can be rented by short term visitors or yachts under maintenance or repair work done at our facilities.
REFUELING
Yachtport SA provides can provide refuelling services to our clients. Fresh diesel can be collected as requested or a road tanker arranged for large volumes.
VALET SERVICES
We offer full valet cleaning services to our clients. Regular valet or intense/focused valet for interior and exterior areas.
MARINA CAFÉ
We have a Marina Café providing delicious breakfast and lunch options for all Yachtport SA visitors. The Café is also suitable for small functions and has a deck overlooking the mooring and lift-out dock.
