- SMALL CRAFT HARBOUR PORT OF SALDANHA
- V&A WATERFRONT CAPE TOWN
“Our modern facility is located in Saldanha Bay, being the largest and deepest natural bay in South Africa, some 60 nautical miles northwest of Cape Town. Our premises is situated in the Small Craft Harbour of the Port of Saldanha with walk-on pontoon moorings, haul out and maintenance facilities for yachts.
The floating pontoon walk-on marina is well protected from wind, waves, ocean swell and has deep water access for 20 yachts.
The modern Travelift can lift safely up to 100-tons while the extra wide loading dock is 10.0m wide wall-to-wall. This accommodates monohulls and catamarans of 25-30m length overall typically.
Our adjacent quayside can be used with Mobile cranes to lift wider, longer or heavier vessels if required.”

Yachtport SA prides itself on its 28.9m x 13.5m workshop which is the only indoor yacht repair facility in Southern Africa.
Our expert team is able to assemble yacht cradles for the yacht when out of the water and placed on our hardstand area.
The facility also provides additional support facilities including a reception area, lounge and marina café, offices, a boardroom and restrooms.
We are also able to provide technical support services to yachts arriving or moored in the V&A Waterfront.

Yachtport SA is in the process of developing additional yacht and superyacht mooring maintenance facilities within this precinct.
