One of the oldest, one of the largest and one of the classics of the Cape.
Yachtport SA is proud to host three exceptional yachts of the Cape simultaneously.
To the left, M/Y Bebe Grande was at the time of launch, 1955 in the United Kingdom, the largest vessel to be built in Fibreglass in the world. She was the one of the first motor yacht type vessels in South Africa and has competed in many fishing tournaments. She is one of the oldest examples of the now most commonly used material in this category of vessel. She is in for a complete refurbishment after 65 years of service.
In the centre, M/Y Princess Emma, an 85 foot motor yacht, and currently one of the largest motor yachts in Cape Town. A regular cruiser off Clifton, Camps Bay, Twelve Apostles and the like. Currently having extensive bottom refurbishment by Yachtport SA.
Far right, S/V Howard Davis, the purpose built naval sail training vessel. Built in 1965 in Iroko wood. She is in for a new-lease on life and repurposing to become a recreational vessel who had been brought to Yachtport SA for maintenance and repair works.
