M/Y Bebe Grande, the largest moulded glass fibre yacht built in the 1950’s, has been gracing the Cape waters since 1957. This vessel with a rich yachting history has been un-operational and in poor condition, in Granger Bay, for the last eight years.
In October 2019, Yachtport SA was contracted, by its owner, to restore it and Bebe Grande was road-transported to Yachport SA where she will go through a process of maintenance and repair work in order to restore her, as close as possible, to her original design.
We look forward to sharing follow-up articles on the restoration progress of this historical yacht.
