On her voyage around the world, this Swan 95 S, Lot 99, suffered damages to her retractable bow thruster. Upon entering the Southern Indian Ocean, Yachtport SA received the call to assist in these much needed repairs.

With her dimensions on the limits of our loading dock in Saldanha, we decided to haul her out rather in Port Elizabeth. Utilizing our special relationship with the ports authority, as we commissioned and maintained their 90-ton Travelift.

With non-exhaustive detailed planning and hands-on guidance we performed the haul out and laydown safely – the largest sailing yacht to be hauled out using a travelift in South Africa.

Thereafter Yachtport SA assisted the OEM technical experts to execute the specialized repairs within a tight schedule.

At launch she is set sail to Cape Town before trotting off to the Caribbean.
